North American Investments, LLP invests 15M in GAIT Technologies

Hong Kong based private equity firm North American Investments announced that it has agreed to acquire a minority stake in GAIT Technologies in a transaction valued at 15 million yuan. GAIT is proud to welcome NAI to its growing list of investors and partners. GAIT pleads to use the funds to continue its rapid growth in the software development, e-learning, mobile application, and gaming industry in China.


Natural Beauty Spa in Hangzhou awards GAIT major Information Technology contract

Natural Beauty Bio-Technology Ltd (a public listed company: HKG# 0157) opens its newest spa in Hangzhou. Natural Beauty Spa Hangzhou signs contract deal with GAIT Technologies to develop its website and spa management system. Pending approval, the new NB-GAIT Spa system will be the original prototype site for a major IT system overhaul in preparation for full release to over 2000 Natural Beauty shops throughout Asia.

The AAP for PDA launches in the Philippines

In cooperation with The Ford Language Institute classroom training sites in the Philippines, the American Accent Program for PDA v1.0 has been introduced to medical professionals with overwhelming success. Due to the highly comprehensive but compact AAP for PDA courseware, these students are able to train anytime and anywhere in preparation for their TSE or IELTS exams. Now they can use the AAP interactive training and reduce their English accents on the way to work, in a waiting room, or anytime in or out of the classroom!


The Ford Language Institute chooses GAIT as its partner

The Ford Language Institute agrees to port its industry pioneering American Accent Program Workbook and CD-ROM English training series onto the PDA mobile platform developed by GAIT Technologies. The cooperative partnership will involve re-designing the multi-media content and interactive training functions from the CD-ROM version of AAP, onto the mobile platform in its entirety and without loss of clarity or performance. Marketing and sales distribution throughout Southeast Asia will be coordinated through FLI's classroom training sites.


GAIT develops its mobile application platform

Building on the success of its Distance Learning platform in China, GAIT Technologies commits its development resources to create the most advanced and market friendly mobile platform available in Asia. Initial application development will begin on the Microsoft Pocket PC and Smartphone OS, but Java and Symbian technologies will be incorporated into the GAIT mobile platform as well.
